ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice
is hereby given, in accordance with By?law 11.1, that the Annual
General Meeting of
Construction Specifications Canada will be held at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel, Winnipeg, MB on Saturday May 23, 2026 at 10:30AM for the following purposes:
- to receive the financial statements
of the Corporation for the year ended
March 31, 2026;
- to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year
ending March 31,2027;
- to receive reports from officers and
program directors;
- to transact such further or other
business as may properly come before the meeting.
The
Annual General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the CSC Conference
2026 in Winnipeg, MB, May 20-24, 2026. Members wishing to attend the Annual
General Meeting only, need not register for the Conference.
Members
of CSC will have the opportunity to discuss Association activities by
attending the Members' Forum which will be held in the same location as the
Annual General Meeting at 9:00AM.
Resolutions:
A resolution is a written declaration submitted for consideration as a formal
expression of opinion, will or intent of the delegates of the Annual General
Meeting. Resolutions shall be submitted in the stipulated form to the
Executive Director, Construction Specifications Canada. Resolutions for
consideration at the 2026 Annual General Meeting must be submitted by May 7,
2026. Contact the Association office for complete information on presenting a
resolution.
Other
Business: Requests for consideration of items of other business for
presentation to the Annual General Meeting shall be submitted in writing to
the Resolutions Committee prior to noon of the day preceding the Annual
General Meeting. Such requests may be submitted by any chapter or by any five
accredited delegates, each from a different chapter. The Resolutions
Committee shall rule on the acceptability of each request for items of other
business and shall announce its decision to the sponsoring chapter or voting
delegate(s) not later than six (6) hours before the Annual Meeting. No appeal
from the decision will be allowed.
